Discussion on influencing factors of opening discharge coefficient in natural ventilation

Discharge coefficient is a major factor influencing flow field in natural ventilation buildings. Analyses the influencing factors of the discharge coefficient such as the length/width ratio of the opening, the opening degree, the pressure difference and the temperature difference across the opening and a screen. Points out that the discharge coefficient can not be considered as a constant but should be analysed with actual conditions.
